Hello! My name is Shaylan and I am one half of Salty Sea Escapes. This business venture is one that I am very excited about and one that has been highly anticipated.
I have lived in Cornwall now for 20 years, moving here with my family from Malvern, Worcestershire. In this time, I have spent many a weekend up and down Cornwall and one of my favourite hidden gems is Delphy bridge on Bodmin Moor, although there are many beautiful places to explore in Cornwall. I enjoy sports (although not necessarily participating in it) In most of my free time I follow the Formula 1, watching football and spending time with my family and friends including my Persian cat Dolly.
I am super excited to begin this adventure, sharing the beauty of Cornwall with more and more people being apart of the reason they have a wonderful holiday making amazing memories solo, with family and friends and not forgetting the four-legged members of the family.
Hello! My name is Dominic and I am the other half of Salty Sea Escapes, some may say the better half... I am so excited to be launching this business venture so I can showcase what a stunning county I live in and share it with you all.
I have lived in Cornwall for 8 years now, moving from the hustle of city life just outside of London, starting my adventure working for Paul Ainsworth and moving on to property management where I then met Shay.
During these years I have loved everything Cornwall has had offer, from stunning landscapes like the Lizard Peninsula which is one of my personal favourite spots to explore or the fabulous Cornish food and drink scene. There’s honestly something for everyone including those four-legged friends.
I’m super excited to start this adventure with my best friend Shay, who shares the same passion and enthusiasm as I do.
